THE WORLD HAS A PROBLEM
we humans are wasteful
EU WASTE

WE HAVE THE SOLUTION
Insect farming as part of the circular economy
Insect farming, i.e. the breeding and fattening of flies or larvae, is the most efficient form of utilisation and valorisation of organic material to date. However, this does not mean that established processes such as composting or biogas production are to be replaced! Rather, insect farming plays a central role in an overall system of residue utilisation.
Foodstuffs that do not meet the high standards of the trade are collected by us and processed further. Insect larvae are used for this purpose. They process fruit, vegetables, bread and flour into high-quality proteins and fats, which in turn are used in various industries.

LARVAL PROTEIN
The larval protein, which we obtain from our fattened larvae, is excellent for supplementing animal feed. The proteins are already being successfully tested at a fish farm in Upper Austria.
FATS AND OILS
The high-quality fats and oils produced from insect fattening are used in the field of natural cosmetics, while the residues from the oil fractions are used to produce biodiesel.
HIGH QUALITY SUBSTRATE
The excrement of the larvae is a high quality substrate and can be used as a nutrient fertiliser for organic for organic farming, floriculture or for your own garden.
